Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Steve, the AI Chief of Staff platform operated by Synpro Media Ltd ("Synpro Media", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Steve is an AI-powered Chief of Staff platform. It provides personalised briefings, task tracking, document analysis, and conversational AI assistance using your own AI provider API key (BYOK model). Steve is a productivity tool and does not provide legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using Steve, you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

4. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

Steve requires you to supply your own API key from Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google. You are responsible for your API key, its costs, and compliance with your provider's terms of service. We do not cover API usage costs.

Steve is a paid subscription service. Fees are charged monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of Steve is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your data. We do not use your conversation data to train AI models.

8. Third-Party Integrations

You may connect third-party services (e.g. Google Calendar) to Steve. These connections are governed by those services' own terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or conduct.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Steve is an AI assistant — its outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. Do not rely on Steve for critical decisions without independent verification. We are not liable for decisions made based on Steve's outputs.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synpro Media's total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
